A few years ago I started a personal 3D Animation Project as a pass time, and you see here is a single frame from my project. It came straight out from the Scan-line Renderer of 3DS Max. The soft foggy look was achieved by applying fog in the mid-ground and a couple of high intensity of volume light in the background.

I am a modeler, and I never claimed to be an animator nor a VFX technician. That being said, the basic animations and VFX I did in this demo act merely as a pretext for a walk through in the 3D environment I modeled. I modeled everything in 3DS Max, rendered in the default Scanline renderer as Targa Sequence and stitched together in After Effects. I hope you'd like it. All kind of feed back is highly appreciated.

What is behind that Door?

Here is another frame from my animation project.
As we walked through the "Forest" we ended up here. A night scene. Again, as to create depth and a soft look of the background, I applied dark coloured fog. If you're curious of what lays behind that door, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a little bit.
Please feel free to give me your feedback.

It was done to satisfy the restrictions imposed by a video game developer. Your feed back is always appreciated.
